However, those that are confused by it were most likely confused prior to reading it. Anyone strong in their faith and convictions will not be so easily swayed by a book of this nature.

I do not necessarily agree with the message William tells in this book, but I do see the opportunity that this book creates within the Christian community. It cannot be denied that The Shack has sparked widespread debate amongst Christian scholars, etc., but it has also drawn the attention of many people who had become distant from the church. This is a good thing.

I assure you, the confusion was already there, and now there is an even larger audience…Clarity is the opportunity.
