What was important to me was that this whole event became something special for my kids instead of another let down. Every kid that believes in Santa will reach this point, and it truly is a milestone in their life. As a parent, you can make it special and begin a tradition that gets passed for generations or you can just blow the whistle on the whole caper and move on. I enjoy the fun and spirit of it and the memories it will create, hopefully you can do the same.
